Dick began his insurance career in 1973 while employed as a field sales representative with a regional company in the Midwest. His duties included not only sales assistance, but also inspections and claims handling. In May of 1976, Dick wrote the first policy that started a brand new agency. He later purchased that agency and renamed it Stinson Insurance Agency. Dick has served on the advisory boards of various insurance companies as well as being a director for SVEA Mutual Insurance Company whose home office is located in Orion, IL. 

Scott began his insurance career on a part-time basis while in high school by working with the processing and accounting areas at Stinson Insurance. In 1985, Scott graduated from the University of Iowa after double majoring in Corporate Finance and Insurance, earning his BBA. He then began as a full time producer as well as continuing in the processing and accounting areas. When he started as a producer (1979), he was actually the youngest licensed producer in the state of Illinois! In May of 1989, Scott completed the requirements to earn the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) professional designation from the Insurance Institute of America, which consists of passing three national examinations and has completed his studies to earn the Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) designation, consisting of ten national examinations. Scott has served on various insurance company advisory boards, was a past church board member, served as the former treasurer of Rotary Club of Cambridge, Il., and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Scott is also a second generation Eagle Scout (1979). Scott is a resident of Cambridge, Illinois and is married to his wife Catherine (Cathie) and has 2 sons: David and Joshua.
